Happy 80th birthday Neil Young. Ten years ago I was in LA and I saw him eating dinner with Daryl Hannah. This was his car parked outside the restaurant. Peeked inside and yes there was a huge Pono player.

This is so weird/funny. You're a Super Bowl-winning QB who's still in the league!

Really sad about this news. Todd has dealt with so much already, this just seems stupidly cruel. Sending best wishes to an American treasure.

Also: If you assault Todd Snider, that's a "go straight to hell" ticket right there.

Took a long drive while looking at fall colors and listening to this box set. Delightful!

Four years before Scorsese put “Werewolves Of London” in TCOM Warren Zevon regularly dedicated “Accidentally Like A Martyr” to Marty on tour. My fave is the Boston bootleg where he also quotes the Biblical epigraph from RAGING BULL.

The DELIVER ME FROM NOWHERE soundtrack features nine Springsteen tunes sung by Jeremy Allen White, plus three covers backed by two guys from Greta Van Fleet (!)

In honor of ELECTRIC NEBRASKA entering the world, I decided to go long on "lost" albums and why they're so appealing and romantic to me, focusing on 25 "lost" albums in particular (in list form).

Some of these secondary market prices for Geese tickets are insane.

RIP to the extremely cool and foxy Diane Keaton.

Haven’t played this in forever. Remembering how foundational it is for me. Just an epic songwriting display.

Excited to read (and possibly snort) this.

Really touched by this Benny Safdie shoutout in a new GQ interview about his new movie THE SMASHING MACHINE. Can't wait to see the flick!

"Have you heard the new Taylor Swift album? Apparently there's a song where Taylor sings about Travis Kelce's private parts. [Audience hoots and hollers.] If it were up to me, she would have kept that part private!"

This is the current “what’s the deal with airplane food?” of music discourse.

Lost Tom Petty eight years ago today. Still the heaviest rock star death in recent memory for me.
