3/ The incoming Trump administration and Congressional Republicans are already gearing up to attack our progress. From rolling back local protections to undermining our sovereignty, they’ve made clear that our fight is far from over.

2/ But 50 years isn’t enough. Congress still blocks our policies and interferes when it serves their agenda. DC residents pay the highest rate in federal taxes, serve in the military, and contribute to this country—but we’re denied the full rights of citizenship.
