Terrible news for us: Mary took our cat Xedo into the emergency vet this am because he was breathing with difficulty. He had a cardiac arrest & passed away while they were trying to see what was wrong. He was a street rescue who we had for 3.5 years. He came so far in opening up to trust & love.

Visited Ellis Island for the first time today. Didn’t find any family members with certainty (though had a couple that seemed possible), but learned some more of the information to look for on my own and come back later.

We just went to Svalbard on vacation in December! We heard a lot from the locals about the upcoming closing and toured one of the previously closed mines.

Saw my second Supreme Court Justice ever tonight, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Got an autographed book, too.

I love living in Philly so much. Impromptu date night, and without going out of the way, we walk by Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell on our way back to the train. I’ll never not think that’s really cool.

Well put to say “a geographically illiterate member of the United States Congress is a very dangerous thing.”

Damn near every thing I have learned about Tim Walz has impressed me.

Can’t help but think that Nights in Rodanthe will be remade as a climate thriller at some point.

Didn’t think of it until now, but with the Nuggets wearing their statement 5280 jerseys against the Wolves, the score at one point in the game was 52-80.

I am so excited to share that my friend Ravynn Stringfield’s 2nd novel Love in 280 Characters or Less from Feiwel and Friends is out 4/15/2025!

Do digital lives and loves translate IRL? Inquiring minds—especially college freshman Sydney Ciara—want to know.
