Doppelbock... 8.7% ABV... the last one was dangerously crushable and I thought making it even maltier would be nice, but sometimes more is a fragile measure. It's nice, but just a little intense for my taste. One or two are enough at a time. Said the drunkard.

Another great photograph of those hop gardens that used to exist on the last bend of the river before New Norfolk proper... just down the hill from the old oast house that still exists as a part of somebody's house... it's now a dog walking track and park area (regularly floods)

Today's brewing job is to feed the yeast slurries... and tomorrow I'll be making a Mosaic Cream Ale for Christmas drinking. The life of a sometimes hundredaire has it's up sides. Only last week my two bank accounts and coins in my pocket added up to under AUD$10
