Former Republican who disavowed and left the GOP 15 years ago when it moved too far right, abandoned any principles, and became irredeemably stupid.

Actually, come to think of it, I came here from Twitter for pretty much the same reasons.

The sheer audacity of Trump to claim that THIS family somehow represented "the common man" in ANY capacity, and the sheer idiocy of his supporters to actually BELIEVE him.

Some ideas that I'll add to as time goes on for #America2.0

1/? — At the broadest level, I think an underlying principle has to be that we need to codify ACTUAL rules for a lot of things we currently have as just 'expectations' that people will behave properly. Trump showed us that doesn't work.

I made this one back in 2016, and I hate the fact that it ever became applicable again.

And a secondary reply for when one of them inevitably would respond with "I'm not trolling."

I made this one for when I had to deal with low-energy trolls posting objectively stupid takes on a subject on other sites (I just ignore/block them here).

Oh, hey, a new layout for a BBEG's lair in my next campaign.

He will, of course, be an incompetent idiot of a villain who has merely surrounded himself with hordes of slavish cultists, but once you fight your way through all his mooks, he's really easy to take down.

I know it's presumably unrelated, but if this isn't an absolutely perfect—if unintentional—reference to how facts are treated in this country nowadays, I don't know what is.

The wedding dress is STILL, by far, one of my faves.

Quick update re: Trump's nuanced opinion of Large White Buildings That Are Supposed To Represent Democracy:

How it started / how it's going:

Oh, I'm sure it WILL be a ballroom, because Trump's ego overrides all. He is planning on staying there forever, so he's remaking it into his low-class version of the Palace of Versailles, with the gold, and the paintings, and all the other bullshit.

Remember what his other residences looked like?

The Republican Party has now proven itself willing to accept, promote, and embrace fascism, and even on the unlikely possibility that we make it out of this mess intact, they will FOREVERMORE be seen as a fascist organization, much like the AfD is in Germany.

They knew this, but chose it anyway.

I don't tend to judge people by their looks, but it can't just be the proximity to Halloween which makes me feel that he's halfway towards becoming one of those 'shrunken apple heads' we used to make as kids back in the '80s, right?

"Curse you, Marjorie Taylor Greene! Without that funding, the Weather Dominator experiments cannot continue!"

Agreed. I can not see any cleverness or intelligence within Trump. He is breathtakingly stupid, and woefully (and willfully) ignorant about how pretty much EVERYTHING works. He is perhaps the very poster child for full-spectrum Dunning-Kruger effect.

As for Musk, I feel this summarizes him well:

My parents attended a No Kings protest yesterday in Ocean City, Maryland; they estimated about 1000 people were there marching against this regime, which I imagine is pretty good for a summer tourist town in the Red part of Maryland with a permanent population of only 7k. #NoKings
