One of my all time favourite bands, still love deafening myself listening to their albums at full thrap, and I'm very fortunate to have been able to see them live, they were fantastic!

I'm incredibly fortunate to have seen the great man twice at the legendary Rock City, Nottingham, England, on two occasions, and the memory of those amazing performances will stay with me forever, he's sadly missed.

I think a prostate exam, a colonoscopy, or possibly even cranial surgery while fully conscious might be less painful than having to endure the Apple IOS, or whatever the fuck it's called these days.

Those of us who lived through the Thatcher era, and grew up watching her destroy the livelihoods and communities of countless people, are probably still mentally scarred by it. On reflection it feels simply evil.

Absolute masterpiece, iconic and emblematic of some of the the best the genre had to offer during that period, still a regular listen for me today, turned up to 11, natch! 🤘

So then the MOD has to break the bad news to government, that the multimillion £ contract is now going to cost billions, will be delivered 10 years late, and the first iteration will be obsolete as soon as it is commissioned. Call me cynical!

By the time they've finalised the spec, realised the spec they want and need will be too expensive, revised the spec, put it out to tender, awarded the contract, the contractor comes back with spec revisions knowing full well they couldn't manufacture and deliver @ contracted costs.

My first exposure to King Crimson was this album, probably about twenty years after it was released, and I still love it, and it compelled me to explore more of their back catalogue, which lead to me discovering Adrian Belew, very different from Fripp, but still great!
