I enjoyed the phone-in on processed foods.

I had been planning on nipping down the road to ASDA for a couple of jumbo sausage rolls.

Instead I made a Spanish tortilla. Not overly healthy but at least I knew what was in it.

I always enjoy seeing food photos even of small portions.

Here's a photo of the biggest tomato from this year's crop. Presumably it would feed you for a week. 😉

3/3 During the Hobbes set Leon mentioned the first time they and Allo Darlin' were on the same bill at the London Popfest in 2012. That was a good day out.

Over the years I've seen Allo Darlin' at least 15 times and Hobbes probably 8 times so seeing them on the same bill again was a real delight.

2/3 Support came from the excellent @hobbesfanclub.bsky.social. A beefed up sound courtesy of the addition of Ian(from Horowitz & elsewhere) made a difference. Nice to have a chat with @leonhobbes.bsky.social afterwards.

Great gig last night at the Old Cold Store in Nottingham.

The return of @allodarlin.bsky.social off the back of releasing a new album. The old and new songs went down equally well in a packed out venue.

Let's hope this mini-tour isn't the end of the reunion.

3/3 Headliners Fortitude Valley were top notch. I think the new album is a step up from the debut, being noticeably poppier.

This is the third time I've seen them and definitely the best.

Thanks to Simon for promoting and also ensuring it finished at a civilised time(before 10pm).

2/3 Next up were Virginia's Wolves. Very punchy and didn't seem to take themselves too seriously.

. @sweepingthenation.bsky.social put on a great gig at Duffy's Bar in Leicester last night headlined by @fortitudevalley.bsky.social with Virginia's Wolves & the Marlinas(pictured) .

The latter were great openers. I particularly liked the singer's voice.

I don't suppose you're going for this look again?

I recall when I first saw this picture of John Delve I was rather troubled by it.

I'm guessing the brochures for the riverside apartments all showed the river at high tide.

You've certainly had a better couple of months than we have

That was a great gig.

Back then I thought nothing of driving down to London for a gig, getting back to Nottingham in the early hours and still be able to get up in the morning.

These days I'd take several days to recover.

You may recall I uploaded this Dutch magazine photo of Clayton to the other place a few years ago.

I remember it well. A great gig.

It was a cracking gig and good to see a decent turnout.

I don't know if the venue is under new management but the bar staff seemed surprised that people wanted to buy drinks. If they'd been on the ball I would've spent more.

Obviously not within your remit but I felt worth mentioning.

I don't usually try this type of photography(long exposure) with a compact camera (Canon G7X).

Having a bit of time last night, the 1st is Canning Circus with the building in the background due for demolition.

The 2nd is the Market Square with a No. 10 @nct-buses.bsky.social creating the streak

Sevilla 3 yrs ago this week. The forecast was for a fine day. The alarm bells started ringing when I saw countless people walking to the match with brolleys.

Biblical rain with many fans not returning for the 2nd half.

I braved it but had to wring my clothes out in the train toilet cubicle.
