In an excellent AP story about Trump’s public health disaster, the name “Trump” doesn’t appear until the 2nd sentence of the 4th paragraph, and it shows up just once in the first 20 paragraphs.
Does this let Trump off the hook? No, but perhaps it avoids triggering MAGA’s “fake news” response.
Defeat Trump by concentrating on consequences
AP breaks the partisan frame by focusing on Trump policies, not Trump himself.

Donald Trump has always been unfit to serve.
He’s the oldest candidate to seek the Oval Office. And it shows. He’s slurring more. Having a harder time getting around. Going on more random tangents than usual. He’s slowing down, and the media has finally noticed.

Powerful video from The Lincoln Project called "Listen".
They say: "We get why people want to ignore what Trump says. But with the stakes this high, we all need to listen.
If we let him back in, he’s not interested in leading.
He’s interested in being a dictator."

1. How would we know if Coup 2.0 were already underway?
2. What news sources do we trust most?
3. What's my role? Who depends on me?
4. What's my commitment level today? Ans. 3+ hours
5. Who will I reach out to? What will I share?
6. What's next?

94 days to go. How we can use our expertise in ever more powerful ways to help us with our MUST objective?

Sure, there are upsides to this strategy. But Vice President Harris’s team needs to use it with caution.

Footsteps Project ...
We identified and have been emulating one other Rick Wilson attribute, namely to wake up every day and ask ourselves how we can use our expertise in ever more powerful ways to help us with our MUST objective.

Footsteps Project... We adapted Rick's 2 step and applied it to our MUST and our expertise.
Turns out we have an identical MUST: doing everything in our power to Stop the ex-prez from ever Occupying the Oval. Since our expertise is different, we hope it will prove complementary to Rick's

Case in point. Rick Wilson. Co-founder of the Lincoln Project. 3 weeks ago he inspired us with the simplicity of how he organized his day with 2 main principles.
1) Decide on a single absolute MUST,
2) Stick to his own lane of expertise.
These 2 combined gave him a sharp focus

We call it "FOOTSTEPS" because it begins with identifying individuals who are successfully tapping into their personal power.
We try to identify some skill that these people employ that we might use ourselves as a model.
We then do our best to follow in their footsteps with our own work.

The Footsteps Project. What's it all about? Kernel idea: we are more powerful than we think;. We have more agency than we have ever tapped into. Given the seriousness of the situation we find ourselves in, this seems the perfect moment for a project that takes advantage of that power.

And I'm scared that my health is gonna be decided
By a roomful of men that you and I have never met.
You've always been there dad, even when we disagree.
And I am asking you to do the hard thing one more time.
This election will you vote to protect me
To protect my daughter and every daughter?

I haven't said this since I was little, but I'm scared, dad.
I'm scared to send the kids off to school
and to go to church.
Your granddaughter's scared that her teacher is going to be fired for reading her the wrong book.

Here's the dialogue that goes along with the video This Year

Hi Dad,
Thank you.
You've always taken on the hard jobs and never complained..
You didn't sign up for half the things you did.
You just did it, for me.
You've protected me, taught me and guided me.

96 days to election day on November 5th.

And another 76 days to Inauguration Day on January 20 for a total of 172 days. Just a bit shy of 1/2 year..

Personal commitment to spend significant time each day to assure best outcome on both day. Today's commitment = 4 hours.

Call things by their true name whenever possible.

Example. complaints about "too high inflation" are better described as anger about "too high prices."

You can't do anything directly about inflation, it's just a calculated number. If you want to change, you need to focus on reducing prices.
