According to Ehrman, Jesus's identity with God would seem an odd thing for the sources earlier in the first century to omit, if Jesus had claimed it.
Those sources have Jesus proclaiming his role in the coming Kingdom of God, though not as God Himself.

Related are conclusions re: the *style* of politics voters want, which seems to be heterodox over moderate, as well as anti-status quo at a time when the institutions are under assault.

I don't live in New York. I've come around much more to the notion that New York's politics shouldn't matter as much as they do.
I don't think socialist policies will solve NYC's housing problems.
I do think that if Mamdani drives NYC into the ground, he won't be reelected.
