🇺🇸🇩🇪 currently in Florida. Pro-🇺🇦.
Much of West Virginia is quite pretty, but that's about the only thing that can be said for it.

Virginia is much wealthier than West Virginia, and enjoys much higher quality of life, life expectancy, better schools, and higher economic productivity.

Educational tidbits.

I like this pope, certainly relative to others that I'm aware of.

When the depths of applicable precedent have truly been plumbed.

(Sandton Agriculture Investments III, LLC, et al. v. 4-S Ranch Partners, LLC, et al. (Cal. App. 5th Dist., Aug. 8, 2025))

I don't think a foreign ethnoreligious conflict should have a role in American politics.

I don't care what Mamdani thinks of Israel or Palestine. I don't care much about Israel or Palestine, beyond wishing them peace and security.

I don't care about socialist grocery stores.

'Jesus, Mary, Joseph, and the twelve apostles, all the saints in heaven, the archangel Gabriel and all the angels, and all the holy men and women of the Church, that hurt.'

This is misinfo, but also pretty funny in spite of itself.

First of all, no way this account is American.

Second, the US population reached 100 million at some point between 1915 and 1920, not at whatever time this Gillette commercial was made.

Watched this, "Bullet Train Explosion", a remake of a 1975 film.

It was cheesy and pretty bad.

On the other hand, there's action, there are the landscapes of Japan, and there are trains, so, a few of my favorite elements.

Capitalization has to be postponed. It's too controversial.

Updated my US map and did Canada and UK ones for sh*ts and gigs.

Looking at the UK one, it's funny that I never wanted to venture south of north Lincolnshire 😂

Making common cause with a far-right movement; being surprised that that movement is full of antisemites.

This is not "180 degrees" from President Trump. This is what President Trump enabled.

Women should be cooler about this, it would probably solve some problems.

Way too much going on here, IMO.

Simplifying the country's name might help.

First Amendment violation-a-mundo.

This is an important point.

Our First Amendment does indeed protect speech that "undermines the dignity of others".

We, thankfully, do not have a "human dignity" provision in our Constitution that would apply vis-à-vis private persons.

I stopped for lunch in Jacksonville, and later I stopped because I needed to stretch my legs, and I was appalled at how little progress I've made 😂
