I'm laughing at myself thinking about the reason I bought premium was to use the web app on my computer because the only way I knew how to listen otherwise was to download the each podcast file via RSS. And how much my friends thought I was so crazy to spend that kind of money on an app.

Yeah. So maybe like a decade ago when they first came out they offered lifetime premium for like $10 or $20 something in retrospect was really cheap. When NPR bought them they tried to take it away and then they changed their mind and restored lifetime plus status.
