The world's govts already agreed to triple renewables, double energy efficiency, & substantially cut methane emissions

*If* they follow through on these by 2035, it would quickly slow the rate of warming, lowering temperature rise this century from 2.6C to 1.7C

Labour lies about the Greens on a daily basis. No moral constraints whatsoever. How do Labour Party members feel about this institutionalised dishonesty?
What Zack actually said was Putin giving up nuclear weapons was "extremely unlikely".

But he emphasised that we should always be working towards a nuke free world and often many things seem impossible until they are achieved.

But has anyone in this Labour government ever cared about the truth?
The leader of the greens thinks he can persuade Putin to give up weapons. The leader of reform thinks he can cut public spending without cutting services. Labour risks falling into same trap in its immigration and asylum policies. To actually change the world we need less bravado and more scrutiny.

Loyalty is a two edged sword. Too much emphasis on it will have you participating in what you know to be wrong. How many Labour MPs already feel this?
I'm sorry, but we're well past the point now where an MP gets to remain in the Labour Party and claim they're one of the good ones trying to turn the tide.

It's not possible. They know it's not possible. We know it's not possible. It's pathetic.

Reminder that the world spends 7 times as much on fossil fuel subsidies (~$7 trillion annually, ~7% of global GDP) than it does on renewables, which as of 2025 provide twice the bang for buck invested, even without the cost of ruining the biosphere.

In other words, late capitalism is a death cult.
Scientists now say we're on track for a catastrophic 2.6C temperature rise.
