This book is technically not about AI, or even technology at all. It’s a look at how states that use central planning to make governing easier end up making a façade that doesn’t hold up

1) My top recommendation for a book about AI is The Worlds I See by Fei-Fei Li
Part memoir, part science, this book really helped me get a much better grasp of the science and people behind the early days of the current AI boom. Great read, especially for a non-computer scientist
