Do not ever book a vacation rental from Vacasa along the gulf coast. I had a horrible customer service experience with them. They are very strict and assanine with their cancellation policies and will not work with you towards an amicable solution. They treated me like a number. They are inhumane.

Latest (1z) HRRR model run stalls the front right over us, delivering a low-end tornado, hail, and straight line wind risk around 2-3 AM. From there, we transition into a flooding threat through Thursday morning. Rainfall may be significant in spots. We have coffee. / 947 PM

Be ready for storms overnight. Our overnight tornado, hail, wind risk - while real - will be lower than the tornado outbreak today in E Ark., W. Tenn., and W. Ky. Flooding may turn out to be the big problem in the morning. We do not need the front to stall over the city. / 950 PM

There's been a lot of information circulating about this severe weather stretch, but not all of it is accurate. Unfortunately, some people spread fake or misleading updates that cause unnecessary Storm Anxiety instead of helping to keep everyone calm and informed.

Listen to Colette. She was a big part of getting #StandUpForScience to happen.
Standing up in a time like this matters because this flavor of authoritarianism relies on the public’s passive acceptance, rather than active popular support.

When We The People sit there dumbfounded when inhumane and abnormal policies are enacted, we play into their hand.

We must stand up!
