Some speculation that Sauber driver Zhou Guanyu is being lined up for a Ferrari reserve role. Latest I’ve heard from the team he’s not on their list. Always thought a return to Alpine in that capacity made a bit more sense but just a theory.

Interesting to see the race move to the first weekend of June from 2026. Means it will no longer clash with the other blue-riband event on the same day, the Indy 500.
