Here is my other work of art for my ebike. I wanted a flat rack as a front rack for my bike, but the only a basket rack was available for the preset holes on my front post. I ordered this rack knowing that I'd have to make it fit. I used a burr bit it to extend the preset holes where I needed them.

I made a ebike battery rocker switch, not because I needed one but because I could. This switch is supposedly rated for 20amps, seems robust. I think the box looks quite nice. It works but needs more rigorous testing. @fateswarning86.bsky.social

@fateswarning86.bsky.social I'd like to give you an update on the ebike project. I got everything working the way I wish except for one tiny obstacle. Back in April I bought the only bullet connectors I could find online. They had no gauge rating.

Normally I like to start the week planning any potential trouble I could cause. I was so effective last week that I don't have to plan trouble for this upcoming week. Sometimes I'm a little too good at what I do. 😈👹😏😆

Today's project was another battle against the rat. As you can see Mr. Rat ate yet another hole through some of my mesh, this time my basement window screen.

This was yesterday's project. After 35 years of fighting with the rats who used my little downspout pipe as a hideaway I threw in the towel. I disengaged the downspout from the pipe and decisively won the war with 5 pounds of mortar mix stuffed the hole. Rats are livid.

Getting up to date on the ebike project @fateswarning86.bsky.social After much time, and lots of parts ordering I have launched the wiring project for the Jasion. I've hit lots of road blocks but that has not dissuaded me. So far I have xt60 cables threaded into the controller box, very difficult.
