Baltimore summers have grown too darned hot. Naturally I have a plan. In the summer of 2025 I rescued black locust seedlings for my compost bin and planted them. One has grown quite tall. I replanted the tallest one into a 30 gallon grow back in the fall. I added soil from some of my grow bags.

I spent today playing host to a family member who wants to move to Baltimore. I provided a whirlwind tour of Riverside, SoBo, Canton, Brewers Hill, Greektown, Herring Run, Hamilton, Lauraville, Waverly, Hampden, Charles Village and Remington. This was hard work.

Here is my other work of art for my ebike. I wanted a flat rack as a front rack for my bike, but the only a basket rack was available for the preset holes on my front post. I ordered this rack knowing that I'd have to make it fit. I used a burr bit it to extend the preset holes where I needed them.

I made a ebike battery rocker switch, not because I needed one but because I could. This switch is supposedly rated for 20amps, seems robust. I think the box looks quite nice. It works but needs more rigorous testing. @fateswarning86.bsky.social

@fateswarning86.bsky.social I'd like to give you an update on the ebike project. I got everything working the way I wish except for one tiny obstacle. Back in April I bought the only bullet connectors I could find online. They had no gauge rating.
