Is this Govt saying taxpayer will pay each person up to £120k from public purse if FI goes bust, or Govt saying those people are treated as top of creditors to the rune of 120k each? If first option, doesn't that just help other creditors ( ie banks) more? Must protect the banks, eh!!!

Surely Farage and his motley bunch will be up in arms? Sovereignty, they will shout. This is exactly the sort of interference they argued for Brexit for. In the budget, RR said rules would change to allow UK firms first policy. This will be blown out of the water by this scandal.

I actually think she thrives on the immediacy of it, just like the Instant Dance. Normal routines she seems worried about getting it wrong. In Instant Dance and Dance-off, she just goes for it, and is freer. #strictly

I agree with all of that, 100% #strictly

You are right for participants, but I think Alex will go. She seems to be suffering and so would be ok with going, whereas Balvinder keeps on fighting for her place. Alex out this week, Balvinder out next week.

In NI, there are very limited centres doing MOT tests (not like England where garages can do them if registered). Test availability is so poor that some ICE cars are now on a test schedule of every 2 years. There is no way NI MOT test centres could cope with an influx of new EVs.

But she already had the big run-in with Chelsea, so I would guess she has already formed an opinion of Tracey without even meeting her.

Very much a 'Peoples Front of Judea' feel to all of this.

She must have forgotten that Matthew, one of the disciples, was a tax collector!!!

The water filled with Koi carp. Someone told him they were big goldfish. The biggest goldfish. And he didn't hear the 'fish' part.

And they want to remove trial by jury to allow hand-picked judges...

Correction: Reform are SAYING they are paying for the defence of those arrested. As the people of Clacton have found, Reform saying they will be represented is different from them actually being represented.

Something must be happening. They didn't make a fuss like this when Stephan Dennis left this year, and I don't remember the glitz being laid on in previous years when people left. So, why the fuss now? Would be a good appointment though.

I would be pretty sure a bill asking for investigation into Russian influence would pass in Commons, and so any investigations funded centrally. Maybe Farage should turn up sometime and propose such a bill!!!!

So, Trump is saying that he thinks the tech bros should get more money, and that he doesn't care if American steel and aluminium workers lose their jobs, due to cheaper EU products, because of it. Not exactly 'make America great again' is it.

Why, is he a Millwall fan?

But it is hedging bets. They would be on the winning side whatever.

Could it be at all possible that the new owners will, already having a right-wing paper, actually change the Telegraph to a more Left-wing paper, so covering all bases and potentially increasing profits?

Particularly as Gove said that one reason UK dealt with COVID worse than Sweden was because of inequality. The VIP Lane and contracts being given to rich Tories hardly helped balance it up. Why no mention?
