The strange thing about Parkinson's and the medication is that it alters the same brain which perceives it. So: strange moods, tearfulness, depression, obsession, confusion, etc. become normal. These factors are often more difficult to integrate societally than the movement issues. #parkinsons

People critique AI art as entirely derivative, as if human art is all sui generis. Human musicians are like magpies - with a rhythm from here, a bass riff from there. I spent 4 years of the 90s with Keith Le Blanc's snare sound (RIP) . Human artists need to let go of ego if we are to evolve. #aiart

I've never been a cat person, but have been looking after a stray cat. She has a very very weak and croaky meow. I have only just found out that wild cats don't meow. It's only domestic cats who do, to speak to people. Cats don't meow to each other. I guess cat people knew this! #cats #meow

Earning money from music was easier in the 90s. Get tapes duped for 50p each, sell them at gigs for £3. Mail order and headshops would sell them too. In a year we'd get about £30k from tape sales and every town they were sold we'd be offered a gig.

Is the modern music world easier, or harder ?

What is the perfect sequencer? . Does every person require their own uniquely personalised sequencer specific to their creative methods? What does yours look like?

Does anyone else have problems keeping their music minimal? I always add tons of extra details, which is probably "my sound" , but it can be a problem. And music listeners - do you prefer a minimal concise coherent song, or doesn't it even matter?
