Ten years ago today I happened to see this fellow sail past on the Rideau Canal near the Pretoria Bridge. Look closely at what he's holding in his right hand. To this day I have no idea who he is, or if anyone else has seen him in subsequent years. Happy Victoria Day!

Loki and Daisy share a perch. These two are brother and sister. They were both adopted as kittens from the Ottawa Humane Society and are like a tag team. They run around together, play together and get into mischief together. They live at my stepson's place.
