The question is who will be paying them?
I don't mind a bit, but there are extremely rich people and corporations paying, proportionately, less than me.
As long as it's fair and eliminates some structural unfairness, most reasonable people will understand.

When they’re right it’ll be brought up as an example of how often Muslims are killing British folk, yet they ‘forget’ all the times they were wrong. Never an admission they were wrong; sometimes they’ll even claim a high-level cover up to keep Muslims happy.
Instead of getting all angry because of your own bigotry, frothing at the mouth and bashing away at the keyboard wait a little time to get sufficient information to make an informed decision. You’ll appear much more rational.
One day [maybe even today] it will be an Islamist terrorist attack, but wait for evidence of it first as that way you won’t look silly. There’s no rush. No need for “See. I told you so.”. No bonus points and no cigar.
Keep an open mind. Consider all the options. Don’t be limited to and by your own beliefs. Question what’s presented, but don’t be dismissive. Let the evidence lead to a reasoned conclusion.

'payback' would be returning the respect, support and deference shown to them by the public, rather than following Trump's illegal orders.
Currently, some are murdering people in the Caribbean. I'd certainly have questioned the legality of those orders.

I recall at work, changing from the Ruger Mini-14 to the H&K MP5 didn't go down all that well with some; "It's just not cricket. It looks so ..... modern" despite it being about 30 years old at that point!
