Ex-a few things, now mow lawns and shout at trees.
There's enough for everyone, some people need to learn to share better.
Into old toys, sci-fi, comics, films.
I run because I have to ... you'll never see a cheetah jogging for fun.
I'm reminded of 24 ..... just don't know who on what side any more.

Is it time for everyone who is part of or votes for Reform to have their hard drives and bank accounts checked at regular intervals? Just asking the question; as Nigel puts it.
Reform accused of ‘walking a fine line’ over JCB video after £200,000 Lord Bamford donation

Trump: “I made a beautiful statement, and they made it into a not beautiful statement,” ...... such a way with words. Sheer poetry.
Trump says he will take legal action against BBC, despite its apology
US president says he will sue the corporation for ‘anywhere between a billion and $5bn’

Still playing by the old rules.
The rules have changed. If she can't do it legally, do it snidely.
Whispers, briefings, criticism, rumour, "can't support", etc.
Force him out.
The right-wing started this shit, use it to finish them.

The BBC missed a trick in the Panorama programme.
All they had to do was include a comment that he was a kiddy fiddling rapist nonce, and there'd be no threat of legal action from him.
BBC prepared to apologise to Trump to resolve billion-dollar legal threat
The US president has threatened the BBC with a lawsuit over the editing of a Trump speech in an edition of Panorama

My lawns are being dug up by rats (bushy-tailed tree-dwelling species); anyone know of effective deterrents or traps (humane type as I don't want to fill with glis glis, hedgehogs, mice etc)?

Pay Trump $1bn and no Strictly for 50 years.
It's a meritless case, but even so.........

Some of the best photos were the ones, when back from holiday, you had to use up the film on what/whoever was available.

.....But Thatcher thought giving her mates a tax break and rights to North Sea gas & oil was a much better idea.
F-in' hate Thatcher.

Maybe he's forgotten the good times or how bad it would have been under Nazi rule.

So much is better now than 1939; no doubt he uses the NHS.

Sometimes older doesn't make them wiser.

Anything from Farage yet? Anything at all?
November 4, 2025 at 7:16 PM
Taxes were always going to have to go up*.
The question is who will be paying them?
I don't mind a bit, but there are extremely rich people and corporations paying, proportionately, less than me.
As long as it's fair and eliminates some structural unfairness, most reasonable people will understand.

I was sent this.....

Or from a left-leaning perspective....

Four hundred thousand Antifa founder-members attack innocent Germans expressing legitimate concerns about fighting age men arriving by small boats with machine guns.

Trump has benefitted from the fact that both US political parties are right-wing, corrupted by power & money, and ineffective.
Trump was an inevitability of the system.

Watched House full of Dynamite last night. If I'd known Idris Elba was in it, I could have saved those 2 hours.
He's like Keira Knightley & Jude Law for me; a good indicator the film may be a bit shit, and more research is needed before watching.
AI & Atonement, two perfect examples.

Exiled to Norfolk.
Even Fergie won't go there, now. Or to Norfolk.
Andrew to lose 'prince' title and move out of Royal Lodge

Not been in the loop for a while but are the headcases still claiming the WEF are trying to take over the world and I'll own nothing, but be happy something, something?

Or have they realised the billionaires taking over were actually on their side?
