Watching some new content for the holiday 🇺🇸

Now watching this little goober of a movie. It's really fun, and I love how there's an actual adventure in the movie!

This one has two new characters I've never seen before. Professor Soho and Vernon's nephew, Foster Fenwick.

It makes me wonder how old I was when I stopped watching the series on TV. Looks like it was before season 6.

Also, Mikey's mask looks yellow a lot in here for some reason.

I'm just gonna quit while I'm ahead.

This one was awesome. Tails vs Eggman on trying to trap Sonic!

Super Chicken: Must be a weak batch, it doesn't have the the old *zing*. Oh well, as long as it lets me fly!

Fred: That's funny ... he's flying straight down!

At first, the animation being different threw me off. Then it took me a second to get used to it that it's the same voice actors but in a different setting or whatever. I'm over it now, though, it's not disorienting anymore.

I dunno if they will get another season or not. I hope they do.

I knew I would regret it at some point if I didn't buy it and gave it a fair chance, so I got my copy. Episode 4 was with Donnie, and it was awesome. Plus I finally understood the backstory, and what was happening to the others turtles. And then today, Episode 5 fills in the rest. It's great!

I love TMNT, but this show took a while for me to get into it. Episode 1 was confusing - is stuff really happening or is it a comic book? Episode 2 was kind of odd. 3 was interesting. I saw these on and off over the period of weeks on Paramount+ and gave up.

Then it came out on Blu-ray...

Tonight's episode. I liked the Usagi episode that got selected randomly by Jellyfin, so I decided to watch the origin story. It's pretty good!

Plus I realized I've been saying his name wrong all my life. I thought it was Yusagi. Whoops.

TMNT '87 has become my white noise while working on my computer at home.. my TV is right next to my desk so I'll have it playing and can glance over easily or just turn my chair and focus on it.

I play the episodes in random order because it's cool to see how the series evolved over time.

I also finally got around to getting the original on Blu-ray. I forgot how much I like the story! I saw this in the theater when I was a kid, by myself. No idea how I managed to pull that off, but it was awesome.

For some reason it never occurred to me that TMNT 2014 would be on 4K UHD. So I fixed that problem, got my disc this week and watched it. It's sooooooo good. 🐢

(and no I didn't watch it on my phone)

Sonic Boom: Two Good to Be True (2015) (2/2)

Also, I can *never* remember this guy's name, but he is absolutely hilarious, so here's a post of him.

The next episode is just about him becoming a villain, which is also pretty great.

Sonic Boom: Two Good to Be True (2015) (1/2)

I'm absolutely loving this show! I found out about it through Instagram. I'd never been into Sonic until I saw the first movie, and the cartoons are pretty awesome.

This season 1 episode is hilarious, with an alternate dimension Knucks!

Batman Beyond: The Last Resort (3/3)

Terry goes to check in on a friend, but gets caught in the process and "admitted." The story is great.

I'm a psychology student, so the whole thing seriously rattled me. Go watch it. The series is on Blu-ray!

Batman Beyond: The Last Resort (2/3)

The kids absolutely do get brainwashed, and the tactics they use are straight out of some freaky sci-fi stories. The '1984' trailer from Apple comes to mind.

Batman Beyond: The Last Resort (1/3)

Okay, this episode is *creepy*. A treatment center for teens that parents send to, because there's new laws that parents are liable for their actions. This one legitimately freaked me out.

I started watching 'Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man' today. So far, pretty good! I like that it shows him with beginner tech. I'm hoping they explore kind of his first year adventures. That would be cool.

Episode 1 is on YouTube.

I busted open my Super Friends complete series Blu-ray set tonight. There are SIXTEEN discs. The picture looks really clean! It's nice to not have to deal with deinterlacing or detelecining when ripping these. I love Blu-rays so much 🥰

What's really cool, is they actually make it home! For a minute, at least ...

Dungeons and Dragons (1983) "The Box"

This one was way cool, they open a chest that leads to weird places, which changes based on where the chest is placed on the ground. Six year old me would have eaten this up, I love things like trap doors!
