Love the thought, but we all know those abstracts will never see the light of day, they’ll just get rejected before the even make it to the program committee.

So while I absolutely HATE that the Dems caved, again(!!!) instead of forcing the R's to pay the political price, if the filibuster elimination was on table, I kind of get it. What they need to do now is absolutely tie the R's to ACA increases up down left and right ahead of '26

The elimination of the filibuster would be DEVASTATING & let the R's run roughshod over the Constitution, the law, and Americans. If you're like "they already are!" that's true, and it would get WAY WORSE without the filibuster. The R's want to keep it to restrain the D's when they're back in power

Yeah I thought Holland and JP would be studs for years but man that went south fast. But I think the drafting issues were long term and consistent. It’s not like we’d have been a contender if we hadn’t sent away picks for Hill, Chubb, etc

I was higher on Smith at draft time, but would probably slightly lean Waddle. But yeah Swell too, forgot about him. Damn

Exactly. No one expects a GM to bat 1.000, but his misses were really bad. If they had just listened to Ross and taken Lamar…. 😩😩😩

Idk, I’d trade at least 2 firsts for Chase, so even in hindsight, I’ve rather them stay put and take him.

Hitting on draft picks is literally the job of the GM, so when they blow it, it matters. Also, they had three firsts in 2020 so could have had Wirfs, Jefferson, and Hurts. Triple cry 😭😭😭

True and nothing against Waddle, but the right answer that year was to stay put and take Chase. Another classic example of Chris Grier outthinking himself
