(7/) I do NOT want a government whose first response to tragedy is to identify scapegoats before solutions.

I do NOT want a government where officials take every opportunity to baselessly bash opponents.

(6/) I want a government whose response to institutional safeguards is to rise to meet the higher standards of quality, not to disempower and demolish the guardrails. If a guardrail is outmoded, it should be updated, not removed.

(5/) I want a government that fearlessly acknowledges the history and issues that DEI is intended to address; and if they disagree with DEI, then they should enter the conversation with alternatives.

(2/) I want a government that acts for the long-term benefit of all people, not for the short-term benefits and petty grievances of the few.

I want a government that maintains a social structure of camaraderie and teamsmanship, and presents a picture of what we can do if we all work together.
