The U.S. Supreme Court: "ICE can racially profile people it arrests."

Also, the U.S. Supreme Court: "Texas can disenfranchise voters based on race."

Can we all agree that we currently have a white supremacist Supreme Court?

@RepTimBurchett unwittingly makes the case for MEDICARE FOR ALL as Republicans flail for a way to deal with skyrocketing health care costs.

You can't understand what has happened in Israel over the last few years without understanding how Benjamin Netanyahu has brazenly prioritized his own political power and survival over the preferences of the Israeli public:

War crimes don't need a war, not least because they can involve acts that would be acceptable in wartime, that are unacceptable when targeting civilians or outside the context of war.

It's great that reporting on the double tap has spotlighted the abject criminality of this Administration.

But don't forget: Venezuela is not waging war on America or Americans, and the men killed were not combatants.

The first strike was every bit as illegal as the second.

The end of academic freedom, Flowchart Edition.
TX Tech has a flow chat for guidance on what can be taught in the university system. Two things:
1. Very little content seems to be permitted. This is partisan control of the curriculum.
2. I would not enjoy teaching under these conditions, but I really would not want to be a Chair or Dean.

Hassett is not the only administration official who just makes stuff up.
While there are still some statistics coming from administrative agencies that should be believed, any and every statement made impromptu by the head of any department should be disbelieved until proven to be true.
Number of states where average gas prices are below $2:

Zero.

Number of states where average gas prices are anywhere NEAR $2:

Zero.
HASSETT: Gas prices dropped below $2 a gallon in a lot of places

CORDES: Gas prices on average are still at $3 a galloon

Since we aren't in a war, Pete Hegseth isn't technically a war criminal. He's just a garden-variety mass murderer.

What is "the rule of law"?
You don’t get to pick. That’s the whole damn point of the rule of law.
KARL: Did you know about the judge's order when you issued your order for the planes to continue?

KRISTI NOEM: This is an activist judge. We comply with all federal orders that are lawful and binding.

To make common cause with this Administration is to support an affirmatively white supremacist vision of this country. Period.

Every corporation.
Every Republican.
Every influencer.
Every Governor.
Every evangelical leader.
Every voter. Yes. Every voter.
Mark Kelly: "This president, when he says things like 'third world countries,' what is he really saying? I think what he's saying is he doesn't want brown people in our country. And that's disturbing. It's un-American."

How did this guy and a drug kingpin buy their pardons from Trump? This is our-in-the-open corruption, and Republicans are accepting it.
President Trump has set free a private equity executive who had served less than two weeks of a seven-year sentence for his role in what prosecutors described as a $1.6 billion scheme that defrauded thousands of victims.

Europe needs to take the money instead of obsessing about it.

Take it out of Trumps hands

How do you say “Keystone Cops” in Portuguese?

“Os policiais trapalhões”. 🇧🇷
Pretty convincing evidence here that the Trump administration was planning to jailbreak and provide asylum for Bolsonaro -- and that Trump inadvertently revealed the plan.

And this, as the now-cliche goes, would have been a paralyzing scandal for any other administration.
Trump appears to blurt out secret plan, not knowing it's already a bust

wonder who the new Hess is bsky.app/profile/t0us...
Hess of Hess Co was proven to have fixed prices w/ OPEC that lead to 24% of the price increase in oil over that time. Hess was then not arrested but made to pay a small fine and not be allowed a board seat on Exxon's board after it bought Hess. He was then let out of that & is now on Exxon's board

Three things about the Witkoff tapes:

1) It appears Western intelligence services have decided to let Witkoff (and Trump) know they have recordings of their traitorous conversations w/Russia.

2) This Ukraine "deal" was all Witkoff's idea.

3) Congressional leaders should demand he be fired.

2. Vance-Rubio relations “awful.”

3. Rubio told the senators exactly what they said he told them.

4. Hegseth paranoid he’ll be shoved out, Driscoll will replace him.
