I was trying to look up a recipe for the best quiche ever and got sidetracked by the topic of blind baking you pie crust. Apparently there are ceramic balls you put in the empty crust when you partially bake it. They are called "Pie Weights" So many things in this world to learn.

I just finished Trevor Horn's musical memoir. Next up I'm going to read this, "Dirt" by Bill Buford. Looking for suggestions for other books I should read after this one. Preferences: Non-fiction, Music, Food, Travel.

I remember being in my teens, going to the bookstore & discovering the book of band family trees. I found it fascinating when band members went on to form or join a new group in the trees. Many bands I had never heard of, except maybe 1 or 2 in the tree. Gave me ideas on other bands to seek out

I keep thinking about Earth, Wind & Fire. No doubt they are an amazing band and I listen to them all the time. In order to create a sound like that live, with all the horns, keys, singers etc. it takes a lot of musicians. There must be 19 ppl in the group. Imagine their dry cleaning bill on tour.
