I wonder whatever happened to Boof? She's probably living in the suburbs raising those werewolf kids now.

Man, companies are relentless with these survey requests. Like if I rent a car, or if I buy some food somewhere, or stay at a hotel. They're constantly texting me emailing me asking me to fill out surveys on my experience. At some point it's just harassment.

It seems that it soon might be technically possible to make movie and TV sequels that you always wanted but never happened. Even if the stars are now passed on. Which ones do you wish for?

I was trying to look up a recipe for the best quiche ever and got sidetracked by the topic of blind baking you pie crust. Apparently there are ceramic balls you put in the empty crust when you partially bake it. They are called "Pie Weights" So many things in this world to learn.

I hate voicemail so much. Yet it seems that none of the cellular companies allow you to disable it. It's a very ineffective means of communication.

If I don't listen to the voicemail my phone keeps nagging me to listen to it. I have tried & tried and can't disable it.

What song was banned by the BBC during World War II because it made factory workers clap too much?

I think Apple missed an opportunity not calling their payment app "TApple Pay" because it's Tap to pay brought to you by Apple.

I guess back in the 80s, when I was a kid, we were all dehydrated?

I would leave the house and be gone all day, running around the neighborhood, the woods, etc. there was no fountains to drink

I don't remember carrying around bottled water, I don't even remember bottled water existing in the 80s.

Why can't both sides of a bagel be like the top, covered in delicious toppings or seasonings. I sometimes throw out the plain bottoms and toast 2 tops. Food Scientists, get to work.

It's mind boggling to me that in this day and age I still have to fax in things to certain organizations. amApparently that's the only "secure" way to send them data and documents?

2 totally different orgs I've been dealing with. What a nightmare.

The great thing about Spanglish is I can speak Spanish until I get to a word I don't know, and then just say that word in English. Works 50% of the time, all the time.

In our Artificial Intelligence driven future, which is here now I suppose. The heroes will be those who can write great prompts which get the expected results the first time.

I just finished Trevor Horn's musical memoir. Next up I'm going to read this, "Dirt" by Bill Buford. Looking for suggestions for other books I should read after this one. Preferences: Non-fiction, Music, Food, Travel.

After a month driving on the left side of the road in St Thomas, I had no trouble driving on the "right" side now that I'm back in USA. I thought it would take me a little bit to acclimate, maybe I'm driving ambidextrous.

@alexskolnick.bsky.social have you seen the movie "Freaky Tales"? It's set in Oakland in 1987 and has a lot of local references. I thought you would enjoy it.

The other day someone asked me if I ever woke up with a frog in my throat. Then I started thinking about froggie from The Lil Rascals. I wonder if that phrase was inspired by his voice.
