I see it on the opposite side, too. I’ve seen so many people unable to understand why anyone would want to read flawed &/or controversial characters (especially as primary narrators) & it took me a long time to realize that it is bc they read 1st person as literally THEM.

Yes! People take it for granted now but, Ulta was the first place that I could go & know that they would have makeup (& hair products) for POC. Until they opened up in my hometown, there were only 2 (expensive!) dept store brands that had my shade & even then, they often had to special order it.

And also, wtf do they mean they’ll be sending “instructions to redeem”? They can put that money in my account the same way they take it out. EYE shouldn’t have to do anything. I’m sorry but, they are testing tf out of my patience.

Exactly. I know for sure Brooklyn understands something bc she gets big mad when we talk about her & gets gone if she overhears us saying something she doesn’t like (I.e. “she needs her nails trimmed”) lol.

I’ve been interested to see/read about how the NFL (and, for that matter, NBA) are handling this but haven’t seen anything yet.
Will they pull or flex big games to other networks/platforms if viewership drops too much? Can they even?
NFL especially bc of their major business ties w/both companies.
