My kids are having a long, drawn out argument. Weapons of choice? ‘I could have danced all night’ from my fair lady. Sung very aggressively and even mostly in tune.

Culinary greatness can come from fusing two ingredients that would not normally be paired.

This was definitely not one of those times.

If he’s still in office when it’s finished, I’d put $5 on the ball room being hired out for high net worth weddings.

Forget about Venice, get married at the White House ballroom.

If anybody has a nice loud bell and access to a nun’s habit, I think the Portland protest could get a little louder.

Alt: a woman in a game of thrones nuns habit is standing in front of a group of men with the words shame shame shame written below her. She is ringing a bell.

Shoutout to the #rstats hive mind: does anybody have any go-to packages for iterative proportional fitting?

I’m turning up packages that haven’t been updated in years (maybe they’re perfect); but I’m surprised there isn’t anything more recent coming in my search.

What I dislike most about the AI summary at the top of each search is that I no longer seem to get many (if any) results from stackoverflow.

So now I have a useless and often misleading summary and the algorithm no longer points to the gold mine.

Sample size of one - so maybe it’s just me.

How did the strangler keep a grip? Unanswered questions from the house of guiness.
Somebody is being strangled with an eel so this series keeps giving.
But it doesn’t give statistics.

We hardly ever shoot people on sight down under. For starters we can’t find a gun.
Laura Loomer—who recently met with Donald Trump in the Oval Office and influenced the firings of top national security officials—suggests that removing people from the United States without due process isn’t so extreme when compared to the alternative: simply shooting them to death on sight.

Breaking: water causes autism.

In 100% of cases, autistic people at some point consumed something with water in it.
