Yesterday, DIA said it had asked the FAA to allow it to pay its air traffic controllers with airport funds during the shutdown with the hope of getting reimbursed when the federal government reopens.
"Denver is among the 40 “high-volume markets” where the Federal Aviation Administration is reducing flights by 10 percent, according to a list obtained by the Associated Press."
