This is AWESOME! So many cut their teeth during Covid, explaining science and then during the Trump-lead campaign against science, with first hand experience of why politics requires everyone, even those of us who prefer the Ivory tower, to be engaged!

They already fell for that once! No R is willing to negotiate the awful big bill. What about paying soldiers but not hungry grandparents and kids says Democrat? That big awful bill cut so much health care and food something has to be done!

The guardrails didn’t fail. They were deliberately pulled down by Republicans in Congress and on the Supreme Court. They both let Trump violate the law.
