I adore this film, Bowie so convincingly odd (and with his best haircut), Roeg at the height of his ambition. It perhaps needs a bit of tightening up in the middle but it's full of incredible images.

Agreed, it's a great book, though it felt quite different in tone to the film to me.

Hi Tosha! I'm ok, just thinning out my social media use for a bit. Thought of you earlier funnily enough, i found out there was a Japanese author in the 30s who called himself Yumeno Kyusaku after a phrase local to his hometown meaning "person with their head in the clouds"!

Today is brutal. I found out the other day that he did the shots of Brigitte Lahaie for the French release of 'Paul Raymond's Erotica'. Incredible photographer and Emmanuelle 2 is a stunning looking film.

A friend of a friend was in Brian Wilson's band, and they all got to meet the Queen at her 80th birthday party or whenever it was. She came along the line, greeting everyone formally, and Brian stuck out his hand and said in a loud voice, 'Hi Queen!'.
