Knock on wood! I bought a climbing rose last year, I’ve dreamed of it forever and I’m also really scared for some reason haha! Why is it scary?! It looks like it’s settled well so I’ll be putting a real trellis up this spring /summer. I went for the David Austin new dawn (Ontario winter friendly)

We have these and you’re right. They’re so busy and bright and happy! Our garden nemesis is the Japanese beetle, but we’ve found they prefer (to ruin) the other roses more than the knock outs.

I found some in a small pharmacy in Napanee. Expiry date June 2025. There were still 4 on the shelf around a month ago. I know I’m a stranger and this might be weird but I’d be willing to check and ship to you if you need!
