This is a vital step in recognising the role violent porn plays in shaping attitudes and regulating an industry which promotes + profits from VAWG.

The Online Safety Act must now be updated to ensure online platforms are made to remove this content.

There is no such thing as safe strangulation. Women can't consent to the long-term harm it can cause, including impaired cognitive functioning and memory.

Its widespread portrayal in porn is fuelling dangerous behaviours, particularly among young people.

Anthony is subsequently arrested, put on trial and found guilty.

At her trial she says: "you have trampled under foot every vital principle of our government. My natural rights, my civil rights, my political rights, my judicial rights, are all alike ignored."

I wondered if I might see you today in Newcastle as I noticed National CA people are meeting in the room next door to where I’m running a training day. But you’re not quite far enough north!

I see. I don’t think I’d have a good time with those European tea bags. You can take the woman out of Yorkshire etc. Or maybe I’d just need to learn a bit more patience!

I thought I’d seen one from him with what seemed like long lists of previous bans not just in the UK, thought Europe too.

Very little milk (probably about one teaspoon), in first [cue excessive hyperventilating and flapping from almost everyone] and (Yorkshire) teabag out fairly quickly results in fresh, zesty, non-milky brew. Nice. It does mean I nervously say ‘can you take the teabag out now’ a lot. Like a berk.

Yeah, can’t abide stewed tea and flabbergasted at the amount of milk people use. After extensive training to suit the needs of a VERY PARTICULAR ABOUT TEA friend and housemate, I still take it the same as her after 20+ years. And get grief about it from everyone else every time.
