Admin costs paid by the employer.

But these schemes were tailored to a very 'traditional' family model, and on long service with a single employer.

New job flexibility, financial awareness, more diversity in family types, together with some eye watering transfer values, hastened the move to DC.

These were the older style employee DB pension schemes, so a set % by the employee, the 'balance' paid by the employer.
But, as you will know, the landscape has changed significantly over the last few decades, and people now tend to be more financially aware, either through choice or necessity.

As a former administrator on DB pensions it was shocking how little employees knew about the pension scheme that they had been paying into, sometimes for decades, some not even knowing the scheme name, but at the same time it was heartening that they didn't need to, that it was all sorted for them.

Also the "Rachael Swindon" account itself, 1.5k followers, not following anyone themselves, and just one post from 3 months ago?

I don't know what is happening with regards to Chloe Kelly, but the lack of playing time she is being given has a broader impact, particularly now with Lauren Hemp being out.
Even though I'm a big fan of Mary Fowler, an in-form Chloe Kelly would have been my first choice for the Chelsea match.

If you want to see how privatisation can ruin a country, take a look at the Netherlands. We privatized energy, the railways (split up in train company and rail company), healthcare, schools, postal service, housing, etc.

And literally every single of these areas is having major issues / crises.

What puzzles me about this issue is why aren't patriots and Reform at the front of the campaign to renationalise these industries? How can they accept that forrinners own our water, gas, electric and railways, overcharge us, neglect the infrastructure then take all the profits abroad?

Ah, sorry, I was revealing my own bias there, whilst I love the Spanish films .rec 1 & 2 I'm not otherwise a particular fan of "found footage" movies.

That's a shame about the lack of new Elm Street extras, but good to hear that the 4k main feature looks stunning.

Enjoy! 😀👍

Since this is bluesky where we are all kinder, and more positive than twitter, I will be the one to ask.... Which was the disappointing one?
Presumably not Blakes7 or Dr Who, and you're an Evercade fan, which leaves nightmare (still quite fun?) and Blair witch (aged badly and now looking clichéd?)

Though I am a longtime fan of Man City Women, the reason there are 3 City defenders and a City defensive midfielder so high on the list is because we spend half the match passing the ball across our backline at a walking pace.

Frustrating when we have such a brilliant midfield and attack.
