Is there anyone who isn't looking to get rich from AI who thinks the answer to social isolation is more pretend AI friends instead of actual human interaction?

Internet content that takes a 30 second comedy blooper and expands it to a 5-10 minute video explaining the blooper should be illegal.

Even if the technocrats were right about AI replacing all jobs (they’re not), notice they never pitch any vision for what happens to humans. “No one has to work anymore” sounds great, but the only version of it where we’re not sleeping under bridges is one where these guys pay their fucking taxes

I am BEGGING people to frame this properly. The issue here is not one colossal blunder where a reporter got info. The issue is it’s clear these people are all routinely ignoring the most absolutely basic security protocols, and WE HAVE NO IDEA what breaches this has already enabled.
I am glad that Senators are grilling DNI Gabbard and CIA Director Ratcliffe today.

Today should be the start of a 4-year drum beat on Trump's team putting US troops in jeopardy by sharing operational war plans with a reporter before undertaking the operation.

Too much is not enough.

The only acceptable use of A.I. replacing an actor would be to create a Richard Belzer Detective Munch so he can continue to show up in more televisions shows.

This is huge. It's a concrete sign that we can fight back, that the fascists and the oligarchs and the white supremacists know that if they push too far too fast and get caught that the American people may still come for them. Keep it up.
I linked DOGE staffer Marko Elez to a deleted X account that advocated repealing the Civil Rights Act, backed a “eugenic immigration policy,” and wrote, “You could not pay me to marry outside of my ethnicity."

truly one of the most incredible things in all of human history. we founds ways to literally defeat communicable deadly diseases at almost no cost and at no harm to ourselves.

and grifters are working to undermine that and get people killed.

The thing is, I feel like if someone truly, accidentally, & unintentionally made a n*zi salute on a national stage, they would be appropriately horrified by it and apologize. And when they don’t ….. it says everything.

The encumbrance mechanic in #Starfield seems to have no function other than to make me waste real-world time.

(This could probably be applied to any single player game with an encumbrance mechanic that's tied to inventory weight.)

I think my favorite social media exchange is when someone publishes a post disparaging an objectively, well-documented shitty person and someone else feels the need to post "Why?" - especially after said person has recently done something objectively awful.
