So...I started doing the same for weirder sandwich combinations--my favorite name to date is The R.B.F. (resting bitch face plagues many a northerner...) which includes sourdough, feta & fenugreek sprouts... #medawislatastes #medawislalaughs

It may have come from a local shop that made giant sized bread (literally 4x sliced bread size) that gave fun names on the menu, like Victoria's Secret or The Zorro. Maine is also famous for its Dagwood sammies...
