Nah, credit rating agencies aren’t going to downgrade Scotland’s rating even if the devolved govt screws up. Or upgrade it.

I’d imagine it would be affected yes. But at present that doesn’t apply, so rightly no one is reporting it.

The devolved govt is irrelevant. Ratings agencies don’t care. While Scotland is part of the UK it will get the same rating as all the other bits. If it didn’t that would be a major story. In reply to original post that’s why no media are interested.

Why would it? Part of UK has same rating as rest of UK? Not exactly a shock
