An open box, which contains a much smaller box with my new coffee machine in it, and a lot of brown-paper filler. The shipping box is way more than twice the size of the box containing the coffee machine.

I tend to roll my eyes when Christmas decorations appear in the first half of November, but the lights in Oxford Street are always fun.

On the side of the soon-to-be-demolished Queensmere shopping centre in Slough - a particularly unattractive 60s concrete brutalist structure that has seen better days - an external staircase. The concrete steps are each painted a different colour, giving a rainbow effect.
