I have a tough time believing people can't get their sports fix on Bluesky. There are so many starter packs.

I love all 4 of these albums.

All 4 are on #5albums70sfinal

And so are a bunch of other albums I love.

What to do, what to do?!

Happy Bugs Bunny Day to all of us who celebrate!

And don’t forget to take that left turn at Albuquerque.

A New World Record is an album where Jeff Lynne and ELO had it all working. Can easily listen to the whole thing and not skip any songs. Will definitely be on my #5albums70s5 list.

Lots of strong pop/rock/disco tunes from Jeff Lynne on this one.

And Don’t Bring Me Down is a banger! Gruuuuuuß! #5albums70s4

This is the album where Björn & Benny pretty much nailed the sound and style that worked best for the four of them.

ABBA has been one of my favorite groups for nearly 50 years. They only had 9 albums. And all are great from this one onwards. #5albums70s4

The Bayern 125th Anniversary kits are beautiful!

This is one of those albums that everyone should listen to at least once. #5albums70s4

Sonically, it’s outstanding. Especially with headphones.

Lyrically, it touches on subjects that everybody can relate to.

A true masterpiece.

This is the album that got me into Pink Floyd and it will be on my #5albums70s4 list.

A fascinating concept that melds music, lyrics, and sound effects into an outstanding listening experience. And one that puts you through the ringer.

With Meddle (and Obscured by Clouds), Pink Floyd made the final post-Barrett steps that would lead to Dark Side Of The Moon. #5albums70s3

This one will definitely make my #5albums70s3 list. It represented another step forward for ABBA.

Eagle is a bit prog, a bit California.

The Name of the Game is deceptively complex.

Hole In Your Soul shows they could rock out.

I’m A Marionette is their angriest song.

As usually happens when 70s albums are involved, it’s gonna be tough to whittle this down to five. Some of my all time favorites on the #5albums70s2 poll. Including these four.

Oligarchy - 'rule by few' - is a form of government in which power rests with a small number of people.

I’m trying to think of the last time I saw something being promoted harder than ‘Wicked’ is right now.

Politics excepted.
