Just finished a baby blanket for a good friend's upcoming granddaughter. I had to use the yarn I had at home. The very soft, thick yarn I always use was expensive before the tariffs. I used to be able to find good sales. But with tariffs, sadly, I might not be able to make blankets as often.

It is so weird that the leader of the maga people only speak on "blue" cities & crime rates. Let compare just 2 shall we? Yep, St Louis is top 25 cities of homicides. 52% per 100,000, Chicago 18% per 100,000 residents. Yet, he wants to send in National Guard to Chicago.

3rd grandchild this born morning. Luka 8lb 13 Oz, 21.5 in. Just an fyi, my son is 6' 8", so all my grandkids will be tall. I'm praying I get to see them this fall. It has been almost 3 years. I am in IL. They r in Houston.
