Anyone else see tariffs as a sales tax, the most regressive tax, on the middle class? Cut federal taxes on the wealthy in exchange for some new money from the middle class?

Having like-minded House and Senate members, I thought perhaps a comment email directly to the executive office on the wrongness of tariffs on Canada might be better placed. Don't like feeling helpless!
