The shitty thing is, that information didn’t become public knowledge until nearly a year after it launched and had already been lauded for being a fantastic game. It’s awful that GenAI was used in the concept art stage, but people can’t just erase the love they had for the game now.

Unfortunately this is kind of a broad issue with video game UI in general these days, especially Nintendo games. The UI have all become super clean and minimalist, with very little personality of their own. You rarely see flashy or stylized UI anymore outside of like, Atlus games and some indies.

Brother they never actually did the NFT’s. They were announced at the peak of everyone talking about it and then they immediately axed the idea, probably because Damon learned what they actually were. Imagine posting this confidently while being both incorrect and also years late to public info.

He’s the most popular character by a wide margin and Requiem is based around returning to Raccoon City, including the RPD. It’d honestly be weird if he *wasn’t* in the game.

A lot of the movie’s tone and ideas are actually taken from the much darker manga that ran alongside the show originally. The ending especially. There’s also some tributes to other Ishinomori characters, like K. The Spider-Aug stuff is almost shot-for-shot from the show, though.
