Some people in my research say that too. The global majority however, remain relieved to be free of unwanted pregnancy. No suggestion of not using MHT in my piece. Much more interested in addressing the ageism and misogyny with which we all suffer regardless of any medications we can or cannot take.

Which is why I say in the piece that MHT comes in so many forms. It’s 800 words. I couldn’t cover everything. OTOH if you would like to read my thesis which includes people experiencing their own neurodiversities through menopause and into postmenopause, it is open source and available.

Thank you. 2 breast cancers=no MHT for me either, but I'm grateful for those who have found alternative healthy ways for me to take care of myself (diet & weight lifting mostly!) and yes, the benefits after (not least for the many in the world for whom contraception doesn't exist) can be huge.
