something that's bothered me about GBBO is it seems to be less a baking competition and more a competition in time management.
I'd rather the bakers get more time and not have to put hot fillings into the freezer and fill cakes before they're cooled properly and have their hard work fall apart.

Magical melody feels so clunky to play. I'm pushing through out of curiosity at this point, because the gameplay is frustrating at times. It's nice seeing where some features from tree of tranquility came from, though, so at least there's that lol

I played magical melody like 17 years ago and never touched it again after I finished (I married Jamie so the game just ended lol) so it's actually nice getting to play through it again and hopefully gaining a new appreciation for it.
