I'm a young student and I have sensible opinions.
In schooling, there are some teachers that take a while to validate a black child's version of events when the child has provably been a victim of bullying or when the child makes valid points about black history.
I'm a mixed race girl & have twice experienced that, but eventually got apologies.

As a mixed-race girl in the UK, sometimes it is assumed that we mixed girls of school age are the best at doing loud, correct, and defensive.
I have therefore seen some adults blatantly laugh or sneer when an adult is being sarcastic at me. I am only disappointed for a moment.
Because I'm a winner!

There's a balance. As a school student I express myself if I know I'm not in error, respectfully. I have seen teacher errors,
but if as a student you say nothing, it is a missed opportunity for confidence.
And if you say the right thing but disrespectfully, it's only an opportunity for arrogance!
