The first few months of a school year and how the year concludes for a girl my age are very important events.
Schoolwork can change a life or two, but, it is the mind, when changing course, going from ordinary to historic, that decides personal rhythms in education.

Today I said to my school classmates, if you waste September, it doesn't mean that you have wasted the whole school year. You are permitted many mistakes at the start of the school year.
What sticks is what you do to recreate the moments of opportunity others think are lost. September is in you.

Holiday time during the school year & length of each term feels right once you figure out your role during holidays.
Term time was invented before technological advances, it is therefore up to each one of us to work with the time & be creative & clever with why & when we pupils are on social media.

I really enjoy my part-time hours after school at a shop in a diverse area.
A customer said, "Yours might be the only spoken English people hear!"
Erm, no, I thought. Many bilingual settlers DO speak good English. U may think, but not often. But u can't say that about those really integrating.

I'm surprised how few really good teachers, hesitate to suggest teaching as a career option to those nearing, doing, or having done, their exams.
That's years away for me.
My form tutor:
"To go from the stress of school to the stress of teaching is not for everyone."
To teach, u have to mean it!

School is mostly a safe place for most kids, so
coming to and from school should be as well. No weirdos, weed smell and wee in alleys.
