I saw a TikTok video by Rachel Maddow @maddow.bsky.social, and she was so happy the approval rating for US president Donald Trump was so low.

The approval rating of the German chancellor Friedrich Merz is worse than that.

I still don't know what this is telling us about Germans and Americans.
