I don't see any value in me continuing to point to a number of things and you responding by picking one and pointing to its most depressing aspect. I have heard you and I will think about what you said, but I find your outlook borderline nihilistic and it's making me upset, which isn't constructive.

I didn't "imply" the aim is dislodging the Starmer gov't. I wrote it explicitly. The rest is your supposition. I have to note, however, that a refusal to see nuance, joining instead the chorus of "they are all the same" IS the right wing agenda - and you are inadvertently harmonising with them.

I agree with Monbiot on the Planning Bill's underlying assumptions - they feel quite developer-led - and the Palestine Action ban was wrong, but obviously individal policies don't give a full picture - on that basis Farage half-arsed talk about water nationalisation makes him more left than Labour.

Other half forgot half a bottle of water and his Swiss knife in his hand luggage, at Schiphol. The half water bottle caused so much attention that they completely missed the knife. He found it on board the plane while looking for chewing gum

As does haggis.... and a real home made British Xmas Cake, as the lady at the x-ray machine put it: "a lot of organic matter!". Both times they let me pass....
Ah, a big chunk of candied citron peel got my other half questions too.

I love game, but I am convinced it would be better to just sell the pheasants like chickens, skipping the "wealthy guys going around with guns" step. Digging out pellets is a pain, and the "released" pheasants are basically running to you, so trustful they are.

Last "concerned citizen" I met was trying to nick my bike: I confronted the guy and he went "I was only checking it was properly locked, I am a concerned citizen!"...

I think if you’re gonna lament the loss of “Huguenot pubs” you should be legally-bound to go all the way and openly blame a Jesuit conspiracy as being behind it all.

Fascinating to break this down and understand what stage of brainworms the Spectatorati are at now.
